These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Munimetric platform, including the website at munimetric.com and all related services operated by Munimetric, Inc. (“Munimetric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Use of the Service

Munimetric provides a research and monitoring platform for municipal water-system stress assessment. You may use the platform for lawful research, monitoring, and informational purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform beyond what is provided through intended interfaces.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the platform.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the platform or its data without written permission.

Not Investment Advice

Munimetric is a research and monitoring platform. The information, scores, signals, and reports provided through the platform are for informational and research purposes only.

Munimetric does not provide investment advice, municipal advisory services, credit ratings, or recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security. Nothing on this platform constitutes a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer by Munimetric.

Users should consult qualified professionals before making financial, investment, or policy decisions. Munimetric expressly disclaims any liability for decisions made in reliance on platform outputs.

Accounts

Certain features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Data Accuracy and Limitations

Munimetric aggregates publicly available data from multiple sources. While we apply rigorous normalization and validation procedures, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data, score, signal, or report provided through the platform.

Source data may contain errors, gaps, or delays that are outside our control. Confidence metrics are provided to help users assess data quality, but they are not warranties of accuracy.

Intellectual Property

All content, scoring methodologies, software, designs, and documentation on the platform are the property of Munimetric, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content except as expressly permitted.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Munimetric, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the platform.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the platform.
  • Any data, scores, signals, or reports obtained from the platform.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will survive.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a revision is material, we will provide reasonable notice.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
